Speaking of Globalization ...
... here's one of those pictures "worth a thousand words!"
I went to Japan in the summer before the 2004 election. The Japanese were interested in my views on the upcoming election. Then they asked me who the Japanese Prime Minister was. I wrongly gave the name of the previous one. It was pointed out to me that everyone in Japan knew who was running for the American Presidency, but few Americans knew much about the Japanese government. What we do doesn't just affect the U. S., it affects the world.
