Not sure how many HOUSES he owns????

    That is because Jim, he has been also touring the northern part of my country, the United Mexican States, trying to get the northern states; Baja Cal, Baja Cal Sur, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo Leon and Tamilipas to jump unions.

    According to information from theglobalrichlist.com, persons with an annual income of $250,000 belong in the top 0.001% of the richest people in the world.

    From the same site: Microsoft CEO Bill Gates has more wealth than the bottom 45 percent of American households combined.

    McCain thinks the economy is sound, although he doesn’t know how many houses he owns, his salary (and pension & health care) his entire working life has been paid by the taxpayers, and he’s married to a beer heiress who claims that the only way to travel in Arizona is by private plane.

    Meanwhile, the local food bank (Pasadena) is in crisis, with more demand every day.

    So much for trickle-down economics.

    You can't fault a guy for having a rich wife, thet's the luck of the draw.

    However when you buy your house seeminly with help from a crook who ends up a convicted felon you should be very careful about throwing stones...

    I don't think John McCain's first wife, whom he left for Cindy, would call his choice "the luck of the draw."

    There's nothing wrong with being wealthy. There is something wrong with being completely out of touch with the realities of life for most Americans, while continuing to advocate tax cuts for the rich as good public policy, as bridges collapse, levees fail, foreclosures mount, health care costs escalate, Americans die in Iraq, the deficit increases, jobs disappear, schools are under funded . . .

    Anyone running for president is just gonna be wealthy. Senator Obama and his wife are not exactly homeless.

    What matters is more a matter of perception that the candidate understands how the rest of us live. If a candidate appears out of touch with us, she/he is in deep trouble.

    What really matters is the question we so often fail to ask. It is not 'what are your plans?' Rather it is, 'does this person have the character and viewpoint that will take us forward as the issues arise?' No one can predict what the problems will be. How the person we choose tends to solve problems is what we should consider.

    What Sen. McCain is not clear on is how many investment properties his wife owns, and given that he's rather busy as a U.S. Senator and she manages her own rather extensive investments without any input from him, that's hardly surprising.

    Unless you'd rather she not make a move without consulting her husband ....
