ReplyDeleteI was confirmed by Bishop F. Bloy in 1967, I guess that makes me Epsicopalian? But I became a Christian in 1999 by the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Juno is a cutie pie (insofar as that can be said of a lovely creature many times more wolf than pekinese). But what is LGM? I would have thought that encouraging people to get married would be ideal, given Paul's advice about not burning and all, and so getting the church to enable this line out of damnation would be righteous in the highest sense. Or maybe I misunderstand him (almost certainly).
ReplyDeleteI would not have believed that anyone, not even a biblical literalist, could be offended by a whimsically captioned photo of a dog.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of dogs, some congregations within TEC would publicly bless a dog, but not the relationship of the owners of the dog, if the owners happened to be LGBT.
I’m just guessing here, but I suspect that this topic might come up for discussion at the convention.
