Sunrise over the Riverside Convention Center

The diocesan family is gathering as we prepare for the 114th Convention of the Diocese of Los Angeles. We'll start with Eucharist this morning at 9:00 a.m. We'll hear reports. We'll consider a new budget. We'll vote for diocesan offices from Standing Committee members to Diocesan Investment Trust. And we'll listen to a presentation by Brian McLaren.

AND we'll elect two new bishops suffragan for this diocse and for the whole church.

Ballot results will be posted on our diocesan website ... look for a first ballot around 1:30pm (Pacific).

Almighty God, giver of every good gift: Look graciously on your Church, and so guide the minds of those who shall choose new bishops for this Diocese, that we may receive faithful pastors, who will care for your people and equip us for our ministries; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
