Thought for the Day

"Most of my students who have left the faith have left not because they read Kant's critique of the ontological and cosmological arguments for the existence of God, but because they have listened to Christians in hope of hearing beautiful songs and have instead heard something thin and shrill." ~ Charles Marsh

  1. At the Diocese of Chicago's most recent Diocesean Convention (Nov. 20th and 21st) Bishop Lee spoke on the topic that one of the last tings that Jesus said to the apostles was to go and make disciples.

The first book after the Gospels describes how the apostles did this. I am often minded that the name of that book is not "The Words of the Apostles". Our actions truly do speak louder than our words.
