Point of personal privilege

This is, after all, my blog ... so I really don't suppose I have to claim "personal privilege" to post something personal. But I know some folks visit here for things Anglican or theological or political or ... well, for lots of reasons other than to see pictures of my kids. So you may want to just skip this post, which is nothing other than a slideshow of my boys in no particular order.

These are photos that "came to light" when we had some flooding from the big rains here in L.A. a few weeks ago ... and I set them aside thinking I'd scan them in some day when I had some extra time. I really didn't have any -- extra time -- but sort of worked it in anyway.

My younger son -- Brian -- turned 25 last week and my older boy -- Jamie -- is packing for another deployment ... this time to Afghanistan. And I'm just having a hard time wrapping my head around how on EARTH they got so big and so old so fast ... when it seems like only-yesterday-a-lifetime-ago they looked like this:

Take a deep breath, it is all just a dream. They're still five. All of them: Jamie (oops, Jim), Brian, Alex and Kimmie. Yes, even at the same time.
