Women's Night Snapshots

So we had a big night out on the old town last night, attending the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's "Women's Night 2008" ...

There was the whole red-carpet deal for the celebrities ...

... including actress Thea Gill and comedienne Susan Westenhoefer

... and our very fabulous friends Bobby and Jim who came to share the fun and support the work of the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center

We met some interesting women ... including filmmakers Jamie Babbit & Andrea Sperling, who were at our table -- Andrea received the "Professional Achievement Award" at the gig -- and I was deeply honored to be among the women receiving the 2008 L.A.C.E. Awards from the Center.

And here's me and my sweetie enjoying the view from our ring-side table, which included the VERY fabulous ...

Sharon Stone!

Honored for her humanitarian work in general and her commitment to AIDS research as Global Fundraiser for amfAR in particular, Ms. Stone flexed her fundraising muscles by running the auction Saturday night and raising a pot-load of money on everything from tickets to a Bette Midler concert to a cooking lesson with Super-Chef Susan Feniger ...

... and a good time was had by all!

Just another night in LaLa Land ... (Yeah, right! We now return you to our regularly scheduled life in the NOT so fast lane!)

Oh my Sweet Lord! Is that the dress she was wearing when you sat beside her? Because that's SOME dress... if you know what I mean.

And congratulations on the LACE award. You're tops!

Congratulations, my dears. You both look fabulous. However, here in the North East you would have lost serious points for wearing white before Memorial Day. Sharon would have gained points not only for not wearing white but for baring that much flesh. Holy Moley!
