Happy Thanksgiving Eve, everybody! And may the God of love fill you and your families with love enough to share with those who do not yet know that God's love includes them and gratitude enough to reach out to those in need of hope or help this holiday and always!
.
P.S. And please remember to pray for those still in harm's way in Iraq and Afghanistan and for those families not yet able to give thanks for the safe return of their sons and daughters, as we are giving thanks for Jamie's presence with us this Thanksgiving!

How wonderful your military son is also home for Thanksgiving. Would that all those serving in Iraq were home with loved ones as well. I hope it is a joyful holiday for clan Russell.

Dear Rev. Russell:
A blessed Thanksgiving to you and your family. Although we sometimes disagree I find your blog a comfortable tie to my former La Crescenta home.
All the more difficult as we are expecting 2-4 inches of snow on Thanksgiving Day. Oh, well.
We are all children of God and blessed.
As before please extend my thanks to your son for serving our country.

Blessings to you and yours this Thanksgiving! So glad Jamie is home with you, and my prayers go out to all those, soldiers and others, who are not with their families this year.
It is a lovely photo Susan. It looks just the way a family should.
Yes, doesn't it? Happy people who love each other gathered around the table giving thanks for the love that binds them together, the bounty of God's blessings and the traditional family values of love, commitment and support for one another!
Have a Blessed Thanksgiving with YOUR family ... whatever it looks like!
This year I'm especially thankful for finding your blog, Rev. Russell !!
