Sister Joan Chittister famously said, "We are each called to go through life reclaiming the planet an inch at a time until the Garden of Eden grows green again." Reflecting on that journey -- a blog at a time -- is the focus of this site.
And an un-named colleague (Kevin Jones) once told me that the Bible might say the only unforgiveable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit ... but the REAL unforgiveable sin was rooting for the Dodgers.
So there you go.
I figure if there's room in the Episcopal Church for both Dodger AND Giant fans well ... the rest of this "across the divide" stuff should be a piece of cake! :)
O LORD God of Hosts, stretch forth, we pray thee, thine almighty arm to strengthen the Los Angeles Dodgers. Support them at the plate, on the mound, in the field and on the basepaths. Keep them safe from defeat, endue them with courage and grant that may win every game. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

So often, in the decades of my fandom, the team has been SO AWFUL, that all we could do, was play spoiler.
...and yet when the season spoiled was the Dodgers', somehow that made it all worthwhile. ;-/
