Off to Chicago ...

... for the Episcopal Urban Caucus Assembly.

Your prayers invited for safe travel for all heading that way and for the work we will do together over the next few days!

One of my favorite cities! Love the architectural tour on the boat.

Heavenly Father, King of kings, ruler of the Universe, as you sit upon the Throne, we submit to you your servant Susan, we ask for safe travels, we ask for good weather conditions, we ask for smooth connections. We ask for divine appointments with her fellow travelers.

In addition Lord, we ask for your all powerful supernatural anointing of Susan your humble servant. You are in control Lord, you have preordained this meeting of the Urban Caucus for your own purposes. Lord, thank you for the vision that you gave to the original planners decades ago. We acknowledge that some of your Children have been left wanting Lord. We acknowledge that we have failed to care enough for the weak, the poor, the disaffected. Equip Susan, Lord Jesus, for this work that you have given her to do. Give her patience, give her wisdom, give her discernment, give her compassion, understanding, keep her from temptation. Let her be a Light Lord, to all who come across her. Give her opportunities to share the saving Faith that only You offer. You say, "The poor you will always have with you...""Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God."...."So the poor have hope and injustice shuts its mouth"...."There will always be poor people in the land..." But you also say.."Receive your sight, your faith has healed you"..."What is impossible with men is possible with God"..."Whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst.".."I am the Way and the Truth & the Life, no one comes to Holy God the Father, except through me the Son."-- Thank you Lord, that we need not depend on our own selves, full of weakness, inadequacies & selfishness. Thank you Lord, that you can only be faithful. In Jesus Name, AMEN.
