This is the day that the Lord has made ...

Will offer some reflections after "the big day" but for now am just thrilled to be here in beautiful autumnal Washington for this historic event which feels like nothing so much as a reunion of my big fat Episcopal family with a great big liturgy thrown in!

We'll have an "official" statement" on the Integrity website but the most important statement today is:

This IS the day that the Lord has made;

Let us rejoice and be glad in it!

PS -- Here's the link for the webcast of the service and the link to download the service bulletin in case you want to read along!

Attending the Episcopal Majority event yesterday was great fun, and it was terrific to remember how broad and wide the community of hopeful, joyful and loving our church is.

I especially enjoyed your good-natured "baiting" of the keynote speaker, who took it all in stride!

Enjoy the day,

Peace,

Peter

Has anyone found any pictures of the service? I tried to do some screen captures, which usually works from video, but they all turned out black.

By the way, here's my husband's "It's a girl" design.
