It's A Virtual Epidemic of Errant Emails!

This "just in" (at least to me) from a Capitol Hill Blog:

RNC Email Fumble

Whoops. The Republican National Committee (RNC) has apparently inadvertently released its list of talking points on the nomination of Judge Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court.

Included on the released list were a few hundred influential Republicans who were the intended recipients of the talking points. Unfortunately for the RNC, so were members of the media.

Click here for the talking points ... and note this word to the wise: Whoever you are and wherever you find yourself on your journey:

CHECK THE "TO" LINE BEFORE HITTING "SEND."

And sometimes, this is done with malice of forethought. Seems like those on the right seem pretty adept at it.

If the RNC had the collective brains necessary to choose matching socks, they would get behind the nomination and push.

*The lady will be confirmed regardless -- the Dems have the votes.

*Offending the only major ethnic group they have a chance with is stupid. A lot of our Spanish speakers are RC and rather conservative.

*Replacing Mr. Justice Souter with a liberal is a net wash. It is a not a fight worth fighting to keep an opinion they disagree with from ascendancy.

Opposing her is silly. She has a great story, a substantial legal mind and she is gonna win.

RNC is a three letter acronym for idiot.
