Sister Joan Chittister famously said, "We are each called to go through life reclaiming the planet an inch at a time until the Garden of Eden grows green again." Reflecting on that journey -- a blog at a time -- is the focus of this site.

Dear Rev. Russell:
I'm only excited about seeing a little 18-month-old "dog" who has graduated from a 6-month-old "bunny rabbit" from last year. If you don't mind me saying, Addisen, my second granddaughter, will likely make the cutest little dog on the planet. Our son (with our daughter-in-law will be coming over for the trick-or-treat) but since he lives about 30 miles away his mother got a call last night first asking the most important Halloween question? "What kind of candy are you handing out?" I guess the Snickers and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups passed muster because they are coming.
