As a first step, I have written to every diocesan bishop in the Episcopal Church to inquire about any provisions they have made for “generous pastoral response to meet the needs of members of this Church,” and any theological and liturgical resources they are commending to the congregations and clergy in their dioceses. A parishioner of ours is on the committee developing a liturgy in Southern Ohio, and I am helping to draft the theological statement. The bishop has changed diocesan policy effective Easter Day 2010.
