Today is a sad day in the struggle to see all God's people treated in a humane and compassionate manner. I had hoped that our Governor and law-makers would listen to their consciences and not be swayed by the voices of bigotry and racism.

Right on, Bishop.
Nobody's going to be arrested for giving food to the hungry or water to the thirsty. If you could show me in the text of the bill where this risk occurs I'd appreciate it.
I'm also curious about the racism charge. There's nothing in the law that singles out a specific country of origin for any illegal aliens that action is to be brought against. Now, given Arizona's location it's reasonable to expect that most of the illegal aliens in the State are from Mexico or Central and South America, but that's an accident of geography not enforcement policy.
