Sister Joan Chittister famously said, "We are each called to go through life reclaiming the planet an inch at a time until the Garden of Eden grows green again." Reflecting on that journey -- a blog at a time -- is the focus of this site.

Psalm 23
Treat yourself to three-and-a-half minutes of music and beauty on a Monday morning. (and thanks to Elizabeth for the link!)
Absolutely beautiful. I have always admired Bobby's voice - 4 octaves - I've only got 3.2 - and his upper notes put all singers to shame, male and female.
He wrote it for his mother - the women's accapella quartet I'm in sings it, and it is beautiful - and so cool to hear it sung by the person who wrote it!

I've heard you sing, David, you're a counter tenor aren't you?
That's such an unusual range, so distinctive.
LOVE Bobby McFerrin. Not just the voice but how he uses his whole body as an instrument.
