Sister Joan Chittister famously said, "We are each called to go through life reclaiming the planet an inch at a time until the Garden of Eden grows green again." Reflecting on that journey -- a blog at a time -- is the focus of this site.

Being Gay Is A Gift From God
Here's how Ed dealt with the Oprah experience in his sermon this morning:
It is obvious that All Saints parish has its own gift from God, in the person of the Rev Ed Bacon.
(From the post below) It did seem Oprah was having trouble getting her head around the difference in believing that folks are just born gay, so we need to accept that, and believing that we are born gay because our sexuality is a Gift from God.
Thank You, Rev. Bacon. As a Georgia Pastor who also preaches the Inclusive Love and Affirmation of God for All People, I know how difficult it is to take a stand against religious prejudice. But you are walking in the footsteps of Jesus. Be encouraged!

This is so thoughtful and kind, I just love him!
I just love that big, white straight guy because he loves everybody.
