Sister Joan Chittister famously said, "We are each called to go through life reclaiming the planet an inch at a time until the Garden of Eden grows green again." Reflecting on that journey -- a blog at a time -- is the focus of this site.

All Saints Church @ the White House today ...
Slide show of photos of Ed Bacon and other faith activists at the White House protesting torture (AKA "putting their faith into action.") Thanks to ASC parishioners Rachel and Herby Niles for these great "on location" shots!
It brought a tear to my eye to see that banner, which is usually displayed on the church lawn, right there in front of the White House. A powerful and emotional symbol for those of us local to All Saints. And gratified to see parishioner Virginia Classick right alongside Ed. Her work was instrumental in our presence there. -- Always thrilled to see All Saints out in the world! (Dave F.)
Having the privilege of serving in a parish with Fr. Bill Wipfler, a long-time critic of US support of torture in Latin America, I am glad to see Episcopalians on the front-lines once again.

Yes and Amen! Glad to see people of faith using their prophetic voice.

Such a testament! I was moved by the pictures with the bowl of water. Thank you!
Amen
Where is the rest of the church!
