I saw a comment on another blog, cannot recall which one tho, that I thought summed it up. It went like this. ..... You say, guns don't kill people, people kill people. So, you mean like airplanes don't kill people, madmen flying airplanes into tall buildings kills people. And yet, in the aftermath of 9/11 we changed laws to make it harder to bring certain things on airplanes, added marshals and inconvenienced millions of innocent Americans in order to prevent potential madmen from taking control of a plane. Why can we do that after one incident but can do nothing in the aftermath of an incident like this.
